How to Apply
If the dates are up for any program, we have begun accepting applications to it. Early applications are preferred, but we will accept applications up to 30 days before the program start date.
Click the button above that says Submit Your Application to complete an online application. In the Gap Application, there will be a place to upload your Health Form. As Health Forms must be completed by a physician, we suggest you download that first. There is a $35 administrative fee to complete and submit your Gap Application.
Enrollments or pay deposits not received or completed 30 days before the start of your program will be subject to a $250 USD processing fee. If you need to extend the deadline, or have any other questions or concerns, contact the main office.
Once you submit your application, the following 10 work days will be a review period. During this period, expect us to follow up with you. We like to get to know our applicants to help determine group dynamics. Check your email inbox for a message from us and save our office number in your phone so you know when we’re giving you a call.
Because we want to get to know you, be prepared to answer any or all of the following questions:
- What do you hope to gain from the experience of this group Gap program?
- What are your favorite extracurricular activities?
- What single event or experience has impacted your life the most? Why?
- What is nature to you? Do you have a responsibility toward it? Why or why not?
Why would it be a mistake not to accept your application?
When you get an acceptance letter from us, that means it’s time to pack your bags and get ready for the experience of a lifetime.
All accepted applicants will receive:
- Official Letter of Welcome
- Student Equipment + Packing/Clothing List
- Student Invoice
You may choose to cancel or defer your application if you are:
- Accepted to a different program
- Determine that Earth Studies is not right for you at this time
Your Official Travel Documents
Do not misplace the travel documents we send you. A signed letter to ‘Immigration Canada’ allows you entry without a Student Visa.
For any questions regarding your payment plan or method of payment, please contact us at our main office.
Full program tuition must be remit 50 days prior to program start date.
We accept payments in USD and CAD currency through:
